Our sincere thanks to all our philanthropist sponsors and donors. With your guidance and support, for the 4th year in a row, under the aegis of Smt Alamelu Trust (Regd) and Sri Kailasanathar trust, we successfully conducted the distribution of school uniforms to 300 school children (Class 1 to Class 8) in 2 schools and Merit awards to 32 students from these 2 schools
The schools are:
Panchayath union school in Satttanathapuram and
Harijan Welfare school in Surakadu
[Both located in Sirkazhi Taluk of Nagaipattiattinam district in Tamilnadu] were identified.

There are defining moments in one's life when you learn a lot about yourself, and you deposit that knowledge in the experience account, so you can draw on it at sometime later. With the learning, experience and confidence, we announced the below new initiative this year.
New Initiative this year:
We announced in the function that, 'Sponsorship from Alamelu Trust will be provided for 1 girl child until her college education'. This was received with good appreciation from the members in the dais and school headmaster quoted that, 'we are looking after the school welfare like our own family'.
I dedicate the above message to all our donors and sponsors for their act of kindness. We are doing this as a team and with your active support we were able to bring big smiles to the needy and underprivileged in our society.
The events of the day followed the below pattern.
- Welcome speech by the school head master followed by introductory speech of the guest of honors.
- Speech competition
- Song and Dance events by school children on various themes highlighting the sacrifices of our national leaders
- School uniform distribution
- Merit award distribution
- Vote of thanks and singing of National Anthem

Free distribution of school uniforms was conducted in an orderly fashion. The deserving pupils for Merit awards, were requested to come on-stage along with their parents to collect the monetary award. The happiness and pride on the faces of parents were well evident on stage. 32 Students were awarded merit incentives.

This would not have been possible without your altruistic financial support. We sincerely hope and pray such encouragements will motivate the young wards to become successful youngsters on their chosen field and serve our country well in the coming years.
Vote of thanks was proposed by the school headmaster. He prayed for the welfare of the sponsors, their children and their families and pleaded that such noble activities continue for many more years to come.
